There are 2 main ways to get involved and partner with us during Pray4Ozark week:
INDIVIDUAL PRAYER
We invite every person to join in and all Dothan area churches to encourage their people to join in prayer using our Pray4Ozark prayer guide. It will center mostly on prayer for the city, believing that through united prayer, we will see God move to bring breakthroughs and blessings. We believe in the power of prayer!
CITY PRAYER TEAMS
Monday-Friday of Pray4Ozark week, our goal is to have Prayer Teams at every major intersection, and at local schools, praying from 7:00-7:30am and proclaiming the Lordship of Christ over the city. We ask everyone to wear red (we will have Pray4Ozark t-shirts available for purchase) and have a Pray4Ozark sign (provided) to be highly visible.
In addition to praying for God to speak to every person in every car, our hope is that people will see those praying and think things like: “Wow, a lot of people are praying for Ozark this week. I wonder why.” “Should I pray?” “Where am I spiritually?” We want to have enough teams so that just about everyone sees people praying on their commute to town, to work, and to school.
Community Gatherings
We will also have two Pray4Ozark community gatherings where we’re inviting individuals and local churches to come together to pray, worship, and celebrate! On Sunday, August 16, we’ll come together to have a unified prayer meeting to kick off Pray4Ozark week. Then again on Sunday, August 23, we’ll meet to worship together and celebrate all the Lord has done. Come join us! Both gatherings will take place at the Ozark Civic Center at 6:30pm.
